Spring is rolling around yet again, shining its lovely sun all over your surprisingly dusty living room.
Spring is rolling around yet again, shining its lovely sun all over your surprisingly dusty living room. You can’t hide from it any longer, the squeegees have to come out. To make your house feel spotless however, a proper clean out is needed.
Get rid of everything that you no longer have use for. Your old favourite jeans that have holes in but you’re ‘going to get them repaired at some point’? Get rid of them! That second bread maker you bought after you forgot you already had one stowed away at the back of the cupboard? Away with it! That extra wall in your living room that you’ve wanted to knock out for ages to make it a bigger, more open planned space? Get rid of that too!
There are a fair few ways to get rid of this junk. The obvious answer is to chuck most of it in the bin. That is a valid course of action but not necessarily the best. As your friends, and resident skip hire company, we can say with confidence that a skip is a great way to quickly and easily get rid of both your old junk and construction mess. Most importantly, using a skip is much better for the environment than chucking it all into landfill.
Other great ways to get rid of this ‘stuff’ is by giving it away. Take anything usable down to charity shops, recycle your unused bread maker into a christmas gift for someone you don’t like that much, or even upcycle your items to make them fresh and usable again.
With all this junk taken out of your house it’ll feel less cluttered and cleaning will generally be an easier and more joyous chore.
