Christmas cards and wrapping paper can be recycled via your red box/bag. Cards/cardboard should be placed in the box together, as should wrapping paper/paper. In January 2014 you can take your cards to various recycling points.
Christmas Tree
The tree should be completely bare and then cut in half, before it’s left alongside the other sacks or bins that are normally collected, or taken to a recycling point.
Textiles
Textiles, including those that have been ripped or broken, can be bagged and left out for collection.

Electrical items such as fairy lights can be taken to your local recycling site. Bigger electrical items, however, will need to be taken to the main recycling centre in your area.
