The medium is one of the most commonly used sizes, and it has a length of just over three-and-a-half metres with a width of just under two metres. There are four sizes of maxi, or large, builders\u2019 skips. These are ten, twelve, fourteen and sixteen cubic yards. The maxi skips are ideal for large house clearances, bulky waste such as furniture, building works and light construction waste. They will accommodate one hundred to one hundred and fifty bin bags of waste, depending on the size.<\/p>\n Roll On Roll Off Containers<\/strong><\/p>\n When projects are likely to exceed the capacities of standard skips, a Roll On Roll Off container is a great option. These giant skips often need to be placed off-road to avoid obstruction, and they are ideal for large-scale clearance projects, bulky waste and construction. RoRo containers are available in four sizes: sixteen, twenty, thirty-five and forty cubic yards.<\/p>\n Selecting a Skip Size<\/strong><\/p>\n Once you have estimated the volume of waste that your project will produce, you can choose the skip size most suited to your requirements.
